Breastfeeding Friendly Childcare Project

How a center becomes designed as BFFCC

The program entails an initial training on breastfeeding basics with all staff in the center, followed by a pre-assessment of the Center’s current status with the 10 steps, guidance on creating an action plan to meet all 10 steps, a post-assessment, and, after all 10 steps are met, awarding the Center as Breastfeeding Friendly.  The Center is then listed with
Child Care Resource & Referral as “breastfeeding friendly.”(from Wood County Breastfeeding Coalition)
